Generally speaking, Porsche's dynamic engine mounts are unlikely to have issues such as housing damage or magnetic fluid deterioration, so the problem is most likely with the sensor. As a key component of the sensor, the chip's fixing method is particularly critical. Porsche uses an adhesive bonding method for the chip, which makes it prone to falling off under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions, thus causing malfunctions.

Therefore, if a PADM malfunction occurs, the first thing to try is replacing the sensor rather than replacing the dynamic engine mount.
