Notable Differences Between Mercedes E300 and C300

1. C300 is too compact while E300 is too full sized

2. C300 is agile giving better performance and fuel economy while E300 is bogus and having nearly same drive train with the C making the E slower

3. The exterior design is nearly the same with C looking sportier. The interior design is clearly better on the E with a larger entertainment screen and instruments screen.

Despite all that said, their major difference is the size, transmission and Dashboard. You get more legroom and boot space with E and get 9 speed vs 7 then a larger screen.

I think E300 is more expensive than C300. E300 is really a balanced luxury car. It's not meant to be sporty. It's bigger and heavier. It has a much softer, more compliant ride and some of the tech features on the E300 is not available at all on the C300.
